The Pathfinder Team, a socio political group within People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Osun state, has warned the factional candidate of the party, Prince Dotun Babayemi to stop distracting the downtrodden masses of the state as Senator Ademola Adeleke remain the constitutionally recognized candidate of the party ahead of July 16 governorship election.
In a statement issued and signed by its state coordinator and chairman Board of Trustee, Hon.Oladiti Aluko and Alhaji Lukman Afolabi respectively urged the Factional candidate of PDP to retrace his step and come back to the fold for the interest of all.
The group opined that, it’s high time, Prince Babayemi jettisioned his personal and selfish ambition for the sake of the masses in the state who are earnestly waiting for PDP to rescue them from the maladministration of All Progressives Congress led administration in the state as Senator Ademola Adeleke is the duely recognized candidate of the party.
According to the release, the group who has tentacles across the length and breath of the state are working tirelessly to ensure PDP coast to victory in the coming guber poll, warned the factional PDP members to stop misleading the lovers of the party but rather come back to the fold and unanimously worked for senator Ademola Adeleke in the interest of the downtrodden masses.
The Pathfinder Team also implored the leaders of the party who are backing the factional group to hearken to the voice of wisdom and dance to the tune of the national secretariat of the party by supporting the INEC recognized candidate of the party, Senator Ademola Adeleke for the interest of the party and the people of the state who are waiting for the party to come into the power in the state.
The duo who have served as parliamentarian and local government secretary posited that, at this critical time, unity in diversity is need in the party for the victory to come .
They added that, Prince Babayemi as a prince should embrace peace and put interest of the downtrodden masses at heart by coming back to the fold and assiduously works toward Senator Ademola Adeleke’s victory at the coming poll in the state.
“We are appealing to our factional leaders and their candidate, Prince Dotun Babayemi to sheathe their swords and come back to the fold for the interest of the masses who are earnestly waiting for us to come back to power, divided will fall, United will stand”
The group however congratulate the Muslim ummah on the occasion of 1443AH ramadam, urging them to use the holy month in praying for Senator Ademola Adeleke to come out victorious in the coming guber poll in the state.
The group also saluted the doggedness of the Adeleke dynasty for their philanthropist gesture of distributing relief materials to the downtrodden masses for smooth Ramadan saying, the family will forever remain indelible in the heart of the people of the state.
