Lagos G7 Stakeholders Endorse Solomon for NANS National Secretary General

Ahead of the forthcoming National Convention of the National Association of Nigerian Students, the Lagos G7 structure has endorsed Comrade Ademola Solomon, popularly known as ‘Aluta Gas’ for the position of National Secretary General.

In a statement issued by the Southwest Zonal Public Relations Officer and spokesperson of the G7 Lagos Structure, Comrade Tope Olugbemi, described Solomon as a credible and resourceful student leader with the experience and vision needed to serve at the national level.

According to him, the endorsement is rooted in the candidate’s “Pinnacle Agenda,” which focuses on future leadership, students’ welfare and youth involvement in nation building.

He called on senators across Zones A to F, as well as stakeholders and Nigerian students nationwide, to support and vote for the Lagos-born student activist at the convention.

Olugbemi appealed to allies within the Southwest and other zones to rally support for the aspiration.

Olugbemi noted that ‘Aluta Gas’ had held several positions before emerging as Students’ Union Government President of Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka.

He said, “In lieu of this, I, Comrade Tope Olugbemi, the Southwest Zonal PRO and spokesperson of the G7 Lagos Structure, alongside all the senators present, hereby endorse Comrade Ademola Solomon, popularly and radically known as Aluta Gas, for the position of National Secretary General at the forthcoming NANS National Convention,” he stated.
