… Don’t Sell Your PVCs, Osun APC Guber Candidate Urges Electorate
…Tasks Religious Leaders On Constant Prayers For Peaceful Election
As the governorship election in Osun state draws nearer, the aspiration of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on Sunday garnered a momentum as the leadership and members of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, ADS, Osun State Chapter, unanimously declared support for his candidature and assured him of victory in the forthcoming August 15th, 2026 gubernatorial election.
The Islamic society attributed the decision to the verifiable islamic status, outstanding virtues and track-records of Oyebamiji as a true Muslim and bonafide member of the Ansar-Ud-Deen.
This is just as Oyebamiji urged all the eligible voters to vote for him saying “don’t sell your Permanent Voter’s Cards, PVCs for whatever worth or reason”.
AMBO also tasked the religious leaders on constant prayers for peaceful electoral process in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, at a special meeting and prayer held in honour of the APC gubernatorial candidate, the State Secretary, Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Akande Ola Hafiz, described Oyebamiji as a bonafide member of the society in whom all the members of the society were in support of his aspiration to govern the state.

“We firmly believe that authority is a sacred trust from Allah, and no one attains it except by His divine permission. So, it is a noble pursuit for our members to strive for leadership with sincerity and competence for the ultimate benefit of the wider society.
“Oyebamiji stands as the flag bearer for the August 15th, 2026 election and we stand by him because we owe him three fundamental duties as his brothers and sisters in Islam.
