Inside sources from the government agency told newsmen that Ahmed’s tenure as CG has elapsed with effect from the 21st of July, but he has decided to stay put in the role.
According to information, Ahmed’s tenure as Controller General of the NCS expired in 2019 while he was given a year extension by the Federal Government.
The stakeholders in their account maintained that his stay in office till the moment is demoralizing to staff negating the hallmark tradition of progression in the service.
