Gunmen abducted a retired custom boss, Mohammed Zarma, in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, on Thursday.
The incident happened at Egbejila, along Obate village, Asa local government.
The victim, who is a retired Deputy Comptroller of Nigeria Customs Service, was kidnapped inside his fish farm.
According to a distress statement by a resident of the local government, the attackers invaded the farm with dangerous weapons.
“They trekked to the farm and took the man away through the bush which links Ogele, Pampo and Arowosaye villages. We are, therefore, asking the security operatives to urgently round them up,” he said.
