The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain in Isokan South Local Council Development Area of Osun State, Hon (Prince) Wasiu Oyetunji Oyelami, has lauded the recent defection of Dr Peter Babalola from the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, to All Progressives Congress, APC.
Prince Oyelami in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen on Thursday described Dr Babalola’s defection as a round peg in a round hole towards the development of the APC in Osun.
The former Chairman, Isokan South LCDA of the State, in the statement said, the recent defection by Dr Peter Babalola is long overdue saying “it is not how far but how well”.
Prince Oyelami who congratulated Dr Babalola for returning back to the Progressive team said as a grassroots politician and philanthropist, he should continue to work for the development of the entire party toward having victory in subsequent elections.
The Ikoyi-Osun born politician further congratulated the State Chairman of the APC, the Chieftain’s, Leaders and members across the state for having Dr Peter Babalola in the party.
“I am using this medium to congratulate and welcome you to our party the All Progressives Congress, APC, and our beliefs is that as you are in our midst again, it will definitely add glamour to the entire party in the State.
“I pray that you will not and never regret your decision. “You are welcome on board Sir”, Prince Oyelami added.
