The immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun State and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), His Excellency Benedict Olugboyega Alabi (BOA), has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians and the people of Osun State across the country on the occasion of Democracy Day.

In a statement issued to commemorate the day, Benedict Alabi rejoiced with citizens for their resilience and unwavering commitment to democratic ideals. He described Democracy Day as a time to reflect on the nation’s journey towards freedom, justice, and inclusive governance.

Alabi, who is also a frontline APC governorship aspirant for the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial election, expressed deep appreciation to the people of Osun for their continuous support for the APC. He lauded their loyalty and belief in the progressive ideals championed by the party.

“I commend the good people of Osun State for standing firm with our great party. Your enduring support remains a strong pillar of strength and encouragement for all of us working towards a brighter future for the state,” he said.

He also used the occasion to applaud the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly for its Renewed Hope Agenda. According to Alabi, the President has demonstrated bold leadership through key reforms and developmental strides aimed at repositioning the nation for sustainable growth.

As the country marks another year of democratic governance, Alabi called on Nigerians to remain united and optimistic. He urged citizens to continue supporting leaders who are committed to service, transparency, and the advancement of national prosperity.
