Ismail Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary to Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has said that his principal is working tireless to return Osun All Progressives Congress, APC, as a party to its real owners.
Omipidan stated this while featuring on private radio program “Rave FM” in Osogbo, Osun State capital on Tuesday,
The governor’s aide maintained that since Oyetola assumed office he has always allow the good interest of Osun people to prevail in his governance.
Citing the selections of Commissioners and Special Advisers to Governor Oyetola, Omipidan stressed that the process was done with consensus of majority not an individual as it was usually done in the past.
Speaking on allegation of The Osun Progressives, TOP, that Oyetola through his IleriOluwa group is making Osun APC weaker, Omipidan said “It is Mr Governor who is making efforts to even reform the party to make it more responsive as a party.
“It is under Mr Governor that the leaders of the party now wage the authority of the office they hold” he said.
