Islamic Group Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir Celebration

A religious organization, Faith Centre of Nigeria/Faith Dawah Organisation has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across the country and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging the faithful to uphold the values of sacrifice, love, peace, and unity associated with the celebration.

In a statement issued on Thursday, by the President/Amir of the organisation, Alhaji Yekeen Uthman congratulated the Muslim Ummah for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir celebration and called on Nigerians to continue praying for the peace, stability, and progress of the nation.

The organization noted that Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, symbolizes obedience, faith, and devotion to Almighty Allah, stressing that the lessons of the season should inspire citizens to show compassion and support to one another, especially the less privileged in society.

According to the statement, religious harmony and mutual understanding among Nigerians remain essential for national development, adding that people of different faiths must continue to coexist peacefully.

The group also urged leaders at all levels to prioritize good governance, justice, and policies that would improve the welfare of citizens.

The organization prayed for continued blessings, prosperity, and security in the country as Muslims mark the sacred celebration with family, friends, and loved ones.
