An undergraduate of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Owolabi Abidemi
has been declared missing
Abidemi with matric number 19/DACN/4226 was, understood to have the parents, relatives and friends of the missing lady had reported to the police having waited for her return.
Speaking with our correspondent, her boyfriend, who identified himself as Segun Paul said it was true that his girlfriend is missing.
According to him Abidemi is a calm and gentle lady, a kind person that doesn’t lie to him, she normally tell me wherever she is going but i am surprised about her sudden disappearance
“Anywhere she is going always inform me. When the incident happened, after calling some people, what I heard a different contrary to what she told me.
“She told me that she is going to Lagos State that her grandma lost her sister and that she want to travel for the burial. The next day what i heard that she went out with one of her female friend, Blessing , Paul recounted
He added that “her number was not reachable for weeks and she is not online. some of her friends have continuously calling her line but switch off
Also Abidemi’s friend, identified as Olorunlogbon Suliyat Oyindamola that live in Ilorin said she has been calling her two lines and it is not reachable, saying everybody is apprehensive and confused on her whereabout.
“We departed early February and that was the last time I saw her I called her and the number was not reachable everybody are calling her mobile phone numbers”, she stated.
However, efforts are being intensified to locate her while the family has reported the cade of a missing person the Police
In a phone conversation with her mother, she confirmed that her daughter is missing and appealed to concerned Nigerians, the police to help in the search for Abidemi and bring her back to the family.
