Governor of Osun State and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for July 16 gubernatorial election, Gboyega Oyetola has called on aggrieved members of the party to come together and work in harmony for the success of the party.
Oyetola made this call on Wednesday while addressing newsmen at Ile-Ogbo, Osun State.
The governor said if other party members could be moved by his developmental stride for Osun leading them to defect to APC, this calls for all Osun APC members to do away with their differences and work towards the party’s success in the next month election.
Addressing thousands of party members and supporters, Oyetola enjoined them not to allow themselves to be deceived by opposition parties who are good in making empty promises.
He said they can attest to his last campaign promises that he is a promise keepers and will continue to improve on his administration’s successes by ensuring that good governance is delivered to all and sundary if elected for another four years.
He, however, urged them to vote massively on the day of election for APC and guard their ballot papers from being stolen.
