A member of House of Representatives, Honorable Bamidele Salam, has described the aspiration of one of the governorship aspirant of People Democratic Party, PDP, Osun State Dele Adeleke as a joke saying governorship position is not a joke.
The lawmaker said that Ademola Adeleke who is Dele Adeleke uncle is the authentic Adeleke that is well known in the state who was voted for in late governorship election in 2018.
Salam who is representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency stated this while featuring on a radio programme “ORO OSELU” on Rave FM , Osogbo, Osun state capital.
It would be recalled that Dele Adeleke obtained the governorship form and was successfully screened along side other five aspirants late week at the PDP national headquarters in Abuja.
According to Salam, Governorship position is not a joke but I believe my brother ‘Dele Adeleke’ is just trying his strength for future appointments.
Salam noted that the step of Dele Adeleke is a strategy in politics that may not work at this present time.
