Ahead of the next week general election, leaders of the All Progressive Congress Party, APC in Odo-Otin local government of Osun State has reconciled, merged structures and vow to deliver on the mandate of the Party candidates from Presidential, National Assembly members, and State Assembly member in Odo-Otin.
This was disclosed on Saturday, 18th of February, 2023 at the APC special general meeting held at Oyemojo hall, Bareke, Inisa.
In their separate address, the leaders of the party, Comrade Poju Odusola and Chief Adegboyega Fadahunsi thank God for spearing their lives to right the wrong while commended the former Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola for his intervention to make the reconciliation come to reality.
They also commend the former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Binuyo and his counterpart the, General manager Osun Public Procurement Agency, Alhaji Bello Adegboyega Basheer, BABS for their sportsmanship to come together and form a giant stride to front the affairs of the party in Odo-Otin.
While charging party members, the leaders declared that APC in Odo-Otin is now one, there’s no more Binuyo group, Bello group again and urged members to stop any act of hypocrisy and intolerance within each other in the party.
According to them, “we should love each other dearly in our party, no more hypocrisy, anybody that is aggressive should calm his temper and let all work in unison, and move the party forward henceforth to deliver all APC Candidate in the coming elections.”
Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of the party in Odo-Otin Local government who was represented by his vice, Hon. Adegboye Akeem describe the reconciliation as a dynamic step to make a better history.
And also the step to unite structure will make the party more stronger in the local government and give our people more courage in the party.
The Chairman commend the party members for their loyalty and unrelenting support for the party and charged them not to be panic in any circumstances that APC will win victoriously in the next elections.
In his own remark, Hon. Adegboyega Bello, BABS appreciate the former Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola for his efforts and support in uniting the party members not only in Odo-otin local government but across the State.
He assured the party member that Oyetola will reclaim his mandate soon, so they should not relent or fall for any intimidation from the party that is presently in power in Osun state.
He reaffirmed that there is no rift between the leaders again, and all hands are now on deck to work for the party victory in the coming general election.
“The hypocrisy and misinformation must stop within the party. We should roll up our sleeves and thread the path of honour by clearing all the grievances in our mind. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu must be elected and declare the winner with all APC National Assembly candidates in few days to come,” BABS added.
Present at the event were, the former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Abdullahi Binuyo represented by Hon. Wasiu Adepoju, the representatives of Hausa, Igbo, Ebira, Nupe, and Tapa communities. Others include, the Leadership of NURTW, RTEAN, Okada Ridders, various Artisan groups, the Elders and Executives of the Party across various wards and excited Party members.
