The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Sunday Bisi on Monday called for continue unity of the party with a view to win future elections in the state.
He made this known at Ife East Local Goverment secretariat, Oke-Ogbo, in continuation of his tour of Local Government Areas in Osun State.
The tour is aimed at fostering unity and progress within the party, the participation of various stakeholders, including Honourable Members, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Local Government Chairmen, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) board members, and other Party Stakeholders.

Hon. Bisi reiterated the significance of unity among party members, urging them to set aside their differences and work towards the common goal of achieving a better and more prosperous Osun State.
The tour served as an opportunity for the PDP leadership to interact with party members at the grassroots level, listening to their concerns and addressing issues that affect them. It also provided a platform for the party to reaffirm its commitment to the development of the party and the entire state.
He also emphasized the need for Political Office holders to be more accountable to the citizens, stating that transparency and openness are crucial in building trust and confidence among the electorate.
The PDP chairman urged all members not to promote faction in the party, he called for the unity of the party. “Our local government areas must be united as one indivisible family.
“All political office holders should attend ward and local meetings of the party with a view to strengthen party cohesion”
He said all members of the Osun State House of Assembly have performed well, admonishing them to do much more better, noting that every political officeholders should contribute financially to the party in order to empower members of the party.
There is hardship in the country, we must reduce the suffering through our contributions. The council chairmen should not rest on their hoars but to continue the good work they have been doing in their respective council areas.
He thanked elders of the party for steadfastness and admonished them to continue to promote unity in the party so as to win future elections in the state.
Similarly, the Ife East PDP chairman, Hon. Olasunkanmi Makinde eulogized all political office holders, most especially; Hon. Durojaye Isaac for his commitment and loyalty to the party.
“I salute you, Hon. Durojaye Isaac for your dedication and support given to the party and humanity. Mr chairman sir, I want you to help beg Hon. Isaac, with him, the party will move mountain. He is a strong pillar in Ife-East PDP”.
He said the political office holders in Ife East have contributed some money to be paid to the party with to view to assist the needy in the society. He therefore, called for the harmonisation of the party in order to have cohesive party
